Insurance Requirements

For Contractors Constructing Works on City Property

1. General Liability

Comprehensive General Liability for a limit not less that $5,000,000 and including the following endorsements and special provisions:

1. Completed Operations.
2. Products Liability where applicable.
   
3. Additional Named Insured Endorsement covering the City, its officers, officials, employees, volunteers and contractors acting on behalf of the City will be named as additional insured.
   
4. Cross Liability Endorsement.
   
5. Contractual Liability Endorsement, specifically naming the contract.
   
6. Insurance coverage provided must be primary, regardless of any insurance or self insurance that may be in force at the time of any loss or claim covering the City, its officers, officials, employees, volunteers and contractors.
   
7. Certified Original. To evidence coverage a certified original copy of the policy will be required.
   
8. A 30 day cancellation clause if applicable.
   

2. Automotive Liability

$2,000,000 each accident covering all owned, non-owned, leased, rented or temporary vehicles.
